[Central Retail] Visual Merchandiser

MISSION

To use and develop visual merchandising techniques that visualize the range strategy in the most commercial way. Secure that the way we work with the lay-out, range presentation, instore communication and commercial light that creates an environment that makes it easy for customers to find what they are looking for, choose and buy the products they want. This role secure knowledge transmission and development of visual merchandising techniques throughout the whole organization as well as support and provide planograms. The combination of the product range and how we use our visual merchandising thechniques is what set us apart in the market, it strengthens our brand and drives profitability. 

ACTIVITIES

• Define, develop and implement a visual merchandising strategy based on the brand range strategy and store design guideline.
• Use the lay-out as a commercial tool  and support stores with the development and optimization of lay-outs.
• Continiously develop store visual merchandizing guidelines and supporting traing materials to facilitate a consistent implementation of the visual merchandizing strategy for the best commercial result.
• Develop, support and implement plan-o-gram approach in collaboration with merchandisers and store operations team.
• Colaborate and contribute to the annual commercial calendar process and the development of the in-store graphic material.
• Support expansion and renovation projects.
• Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays, window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
• Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end result
• Act in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market
• Monitor costs and work within budget
• Oversee the production and brief staff on arranging displays
• Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes

COMPETENCIES

Functional knowledge & experience:

• Demonstrable visual merchandising experience and design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio
• Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilisation

Functional skill:

• Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
• Creative and innovative thinker

Managerial skill:

• Teamwork
• Communication & coordination with store team

Other skills: Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results

REQUIRED BACKGROUND & ATTITUDE

Education: BS degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar

Language: Proficiency in English is a must

Office skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Auto-CAD and other visual design tools

Attitude: Dedicate, hardworking, cautious
