Job Description

Ensure stores meet sales targets

  • Work closely with all functional departments of the Brand on upcoming promotions and activities
  • Executing tasks assigned by the company and superiors in events, meetings... and ensuring all promotions are completed and correct
  • Sales forecast: set and monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales target and sales statistics to achieve the target for the Brand
  • Analyze sales data (employees, customers, sales volume, sales proceeds, store area, costs...), forecast future sales to achieve the highest target. Build up plans to solve the problems
  • Analyze current trends and propose plans, implement this plan to achieve the best business results
  • Make changes to improve business operations in real-time
  • Statistics on common business targets, sharing with colleagues, reporting to direct management, and determining which issues are most important need to be solved one by one

Capture the market

  • Report on competitor information (new arrivals, promotions...)
  • Update new trends in the retail market, find out the shopping motivations of customers
  • Orient the store staff's thinking and the state of competitors

Manage the Store Operations:

 + Customer service:

  • Ensure store staff provide customer service to company standards
  • Collect weekly customer feedback, report in weekly meetings and track performance
  • Have solutions in the coming weeks
  • Respond to all inquiries and complaints from customers at the store.

+ Store image:

  • Display and control products in quantity and detail, in-store, and warehouse.
  • Work closely with the showroom team and Store Manager to maintain the store image
  • Standardize sales and ensure all items displayed in the store are standardized
  • Ensure that stores are always kept clean and tidy
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of furniture, equipment in the area and the store
  • Ensure store staff must follow the brand's standards: neat, clean, welcoming...

+ Control inventory and replenish goods:

  • Check weekly orders of stores to ensure maintenance: Top sale, full goods, stable inventory. Understand sales data, detailed product groups of stores and Top sales in each region
  • Ensure the management and arrangement of inventory in the warehouse are neat and reasonable
  • Good inventory control (accurate, complete, and logical), propose the best reasonable decision to solve the problem of slow or no sale
  • Connect related departments to transport and receive goods, maximize inventory control
  • Review, approve and control the quantity of defective goods of each store
  • Reasonable and effective method

Procedure

  • Ensure to provide the company's vision, mission and goals; Participate in all strategic decision making and ensure compliance with all key operating policies and procedures.
  • Review, edit, add, and develop necessary processes in the operation of the store

Human resources management

  • Recruiting and training key personnel for the Brand's operations and sales team and planning for potential employees
  • Monitor the implementation of the company's procedures, policies and regulations by employees
  • Establish and implement store/staff performance evaluation standards
  • Conduct weekly/monthly meetings and training, coach staffs, report problems, introduce new information to all members
  • Share experiences and information for subordinates as well as colleagues to become the best team.
  • Check and confirm the working time of employees.
  • Planning human resources at each time, ensuring a sufficient number of headcounts following the company's costs.
  • Loss prevention

  • Responsible for gains, losses, and other issues in the operation of the store.
  • Ensure that Loss Prevention policies, systems and procedures are in place in all stores and that inventory discrepancies are promptly investigated to minimize the risk of internal loss and outside of goods and turnover.
  • Establish strong sanctions to protect the company's cash assets.
  • Implement inventory process and contingency action plan to prevent loss.
  • Manage stores’ projects

  • Develop and strengthen trading and supply relationships to establish long-term, sustainable, and mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Organize, open, modify, upgrade or close stores following the Company's development plans and standards.
  • Financial management

  • Controlling operating costs.
  • Investment cost management.
  • Cash management.
  • Sales report.
  • Note: In addition to the above Mission and Activities, Operations Manager can take on additional tasks or be adjusted to suit the development requirements of the company as well as to maximize the capacity.

Job Requirement

Experience & Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Management, or related field
  • At least 4 years working in the Retail industry
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the field of: Household goods, Supermarket, Chain stores... is an advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Proficient in: Word, Excel, PPT, and making related report documents
